Terms of Service

The rules for using OnFoot: what you can expect from us, what we expect from you, and who owns the images you create.

Effective October 25, 2026Last updated October 25, 2026

The short version

  • You keep ownership of your uploads and the images you generate, and you can use them commercially.
  • We do not use your content to train our own AI models.
  • AI can make mistakes. Review every image before you publish it; the accuracy score helps but is not a guarantee.
  • Only upload products and photos you have the rights to, and do not try to recreate real people.
  • The trial needs no card. Credits are used per image and per check, and the cost is shown before each run.

01Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and OnFoot ("OnFoot", "we", "us"). They cover your use of the OnFoot website, studio application, and related services (together, the "Service").

By creating an account, starting a trial, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it, and "you" means that organisation.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

02The Service

OnFoot is a software service for footwear businesses. It turns product photos ("packshots") into on-model images using artificial intelligence, scores each generated image against your product, and exports images sized for sales channels such as marketplaces, product pages and social media.

We may add, change or remove features over time. If we remove a feature that is central to a paid plan, we will give you reasonable notice.

03Accounts and workspaces

  • You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
  • You must be at least 18 years old and using the Service for business purposes.
  • You are responsible for your login details and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us at hello@onfootai.com straight away if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
  • A workspace belongs to the organisation that created it. Workspace admins can invite, remove and change the roles of members, and can see the content and activity in that workspace.

04Free trial, credits and payment

Trial. We may offer a free trial with a limited number of credits. No payment card is needed to start a trial. Trial credits have no cash value and expire at the end of the trial. We can end or change trials at any time.

Credits. The Service is priced in credits. Generating an image and running an accuracy check each use credits, and the cost is shown before each run. Credits are used whether or not you keep the result.

Paid plans. If you buy a paid plan, the price, credits and billing period are set out at checkout or in your order form. Unless your order form says otherwise, plans renew automatically until cancelled, fees are paid in advance, and fees are non-refundable except where the law requires a refund. Prices exclude taxes, which you are responsible for.

Changes to price. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of a price change, which applies from your next renewal.

05Your content

"Your Content" means the photos, product information, brand presets, notes and other material you upload, and the images the Service generates for you ("Outputs").

Ownership

As between you and us, you keep all rights in what you upload. To the extent we have any rights in Outputs, we assign them to you. You may use Outputs for any lawful purpose, including commercially.

Permission you give us

You give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, process and display Your Content only as needed to run, secure and support the Service for you. This includes sending it to the AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy so they can process it on our behalf. We do not use Your Content to train our own AI models.

Your promises about uploads

  • You own or have permission to use everything you upload, including the products shown and any people in reference photos.
  • Your uploads do not infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights.
  • You will not upload photos of identifiable real people for the purpose of generating images that look like them, unless you have their written consent.

06AI-generated images

Outputs are created by AI and can contain mistakes. The accuracy score is a tool to help you review images. It is not a guarantee that an Output matches your product.

  • You review before you publish. You are responsible for checking every Output before you use it, and for making sure that product images accurately show what customers will receive.
  • Marketplace and advertising rules. You are responsible for following the image, disclosure and advertising rules of every channel where you publish Outputs, and any laws that require AI-generated content to be labelled.
  • Labelling. The Service may add metadata or other markers that identify an image as AI-generated. Do not remove them where a law or channel rule requires them.
  • Similar results. Because of how AI works, other customers may receive Outputs that look similar to yours. That does not give either of you rights over the other's Outputs.
  • Generated people. Models in Outputs are generated and are not intended to depict real people. If an Output looks like a real person, do not publish it.

07Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

  • create sexual content, content involving minors, or content that is hateful, harassing, violent or deceptive;
  • create images that depict or impersonate a real person without their consent;
  • show products you do not sell, or misrepresent a product's features, materials or origin;
  • infringe intellectual property, including putting another company's logos or trademarks on products;
  • break any law, or the usage policies of our AI providers;
  • probe, scan, overload or get around the security or usage limits of the Service, or access it by automated means except through features we provide for that purpose;
  • copy, resell or reverse-engineer the Service, or use it to build a competing product.

We may remove content or suspend access that we reasonably believe breaks these rules. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.

08Our property and feedback

We own the Service, including its software, design, prompts, presets we provide, and the OnFoot name and logo. These Terms do not give you any rights in them except the right to use the Service as described here.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.

09Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including AI model providers and hosting. Their services are outside our control. If a provider changes or stops its service, we may need to change the Service, and we will try to keep any disruption to a minimum.

Links to or integrations with other services are governed by those services' own terms.

10Confidentiality and security

We treat Your Content and unreleased product information as confidential. We only share it as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy, or where the law requires it.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the Service and Your Content. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee that unauthorised access will never happen. We will tell you without undue delay if we become aware of a breach affecting Your Content.

11Ending your use

You can stop using the Service and close your account at any time. You can ask us to delete your workspace by writing to hello@onfootai.com.

We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if you do not pay fees that are due, or if we are required to by law. If we stop offering the Service entirely, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and refund any prepaid fees for the unused period.

After your account ends, you will have 30 days to export your Outputs, after which we may delete Your Content. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as ownership, disclaimers, limits of liability and indemnity) continue after termination.

12Disclaimers

THE SERVICE AND OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT PROMISE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY OUTPUT WILL EXACTLY MATCH YOUR PRODUCT OR BE FREE OF THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS.

13Limits of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, NEITHER PARTY IS LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR GOODWILL, EVEN IF TOLD THEY WERE POSSIBLE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE FEES YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM AND (B) US $100.

These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, or to your payment obligations or your indemnity below.

14Indemnity

You will defend and compensate OnFoot against claims by third parties, and related losses and reasonable legal costs, that arise from Your Content, your use of Outputs, or your breach of these Terms or the law.

15Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Collin County, Texas have exclusive jurisdiction, and both parties agree to it.

Before starting any legal claim, please contact us at hello@onfootai.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally within 30 days.

16Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will tell you by email or in the Service at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new Terms apply. If you do not agree, you can close your account before the change takes effect.

17General

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any order form you sign are the whole agreement between us. If an order form conflicts with these Terms, the order form wins.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
  • Severability. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
  • No waiver. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it.
  • Force majeure. Neither party is responsible for delays caused by events outside its reasonable control.
  • Notices. We send notices to the email on your account. You can send notices to hello@onfootai.com.
